My family and I had the privilege of living for three years in multicultural Jakarta. The biggest challenge was the traffic jams because the rush hour starts around 5:30 am and ends at 10:00 pm!
But drivers are inexpensive, so we hired one, bought a hotspot, and put in the car a cooler with water, crackers, and raisins. The challenge of spending 3-4 hours a day in traffic became (after some adapting time when I used to get dizzy) a very productive space. I used the long traffic jams to answer emails, conduct VCs, brainstorm, and think strategically from my driveway until I returned home.
Any threat contains the seed of an opportunity ready to be sprung!

DELEGATE OR NOT DELAGETE
If you don’t delegate, you might be thinking:
1. It will take them too long to do it well
2. They cannot do it as well as I do
3. I’m the smartest one
4. Everything depends on me
5. I protect my job by hiding them from the management
Any reason for not empowering others comes from arrogance
If you do delegate, you might be thinking:
1. I can help them to learn it soon
2. They can do it better than me
3. They are more capable than me
4. I can depend on them
5. I protect my job by giving them exposure to the management
Any reason to empower others comes from HUMILITY
Empowering is developing others and developing yourself!
So the question is, do you believe they can or cannot?
